Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between veneers and crowns?
Veneers are thin ceramic shells bonded to the front surface of a tooth to improve colour and shape. Crowns cover the whole tooth and are used when it needs structural protection — after major damage or root canal treatment. We recommend the right option after an examination.
How long do veneers last?
With good home hygiene and regular check-ups, ceramic veneers typically last 10–15 years. Longevity depends on your bite, habits such as grinding, and how well the teeth and gums around them are maintained.
Can you restore a broken front tooth?
Yes. Depending on the extent of the damage we restore front teeth with composite bonding, an inlay or onlay, a veneer or a crown — always aiming to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
